Nice place to stay and loved the covered garage we had to park in each night.

A much needed vacation during these times and our families’ first time in Lake Tahoe. The house is beautifully decorated and there is ample space for adults and kids. All the essentials are there from small appliances, games, books, bbq pit and towels for guests.

The only downside was the new Nest thermostat that was locked at a certain degree, two nights of teen weather made waking up to a cold house unpleasant. However, once we made the Property Managment company aware of this, they quickly contacted the owners and we were able to regulate the temperature of the house ourselves for three remainder of the week.

The views of Lake Tahoe from the kitchen, bedroom, dining, living room, hot tub and deck were amazing. Cave Rock Estates is peaceful and quiet and we took walks through the steep hills during the morning and evenings.

The drive up is to the house is windy and steep and if there was snow or ice 4x4 or chains would be a must. Also, there are a lot to steps to get into the house either through the front door or garage, so if you have trouble walking or in awheel chair, this may not be the house for you.

We cannot wait to make a trip in the summer months and stay here again. Glenbrook is a nice quiet hamlet along Lake Tahoe away from the hustle and bustle from South Lake Tahoe and the California stateline part. Make sure you go to Cave Rock trail, Nevada Beach, Zephyr Cove, Sand Harbor Beach and Spooner Lake as well as travel to the California side of Tahoe.

The Toscanos

We stayed here for the entire month of October. The condo was beautiful! It was super well-stocked and very clean. We loved the space and patio grill. It was also in a good location. Unfortunately, our stay was disrupted by a family that moved in upstairs (a week after we moved in). Constant running and jumping that started around 6am every morning and didn’t really stop throughout the day. If you can tolerate loud noise or won’t be in the unit much, this place is great. We would stay here again if we weren’t working from home.
